I was trying to evaluate Cap but was unsuccessful in my first record attempt.
Reproduction
The steps exact I followed and what I saw:
Started my recording. Shot a 24sec video (~12Mb)
Tried to "save" it via the little popup window
It successfully exported the video.
However, for some reason, my video was clipped. It was 14sec long and cut-off halfway through me talking
I then attempted to re-export the full length video by going to "Edit" and export from there
The first export attempt showed me the "Exporting" modal with a progress bar, but it never progressed. It was stuck at 0 until one point it just jumped to "Export completed".
When I clicked on the button "Show me in finder" it did not react or do anything
Upon inspecting the target folder, I saw the video was never actually exported
Went back, hit "cancel" in the popup and re-clicked "Export"
The same Exporting modal appear, but this time it progressed. Haha!
But then, my computer froze... :( MacOS warned me that Cap was eating all my memory and I had to force-quit it.
Additional Context
Cap version: beta5.4
Operating system, version: macOS 14.1.1
Device (optional): MBP M1 Pro
