Presumably since the latest release of the Intune module, Microsoft has exposed the remote wipe capability as an application-assignable API Permission (specifically DeviceManagementManagedDevices.PrivilegedOperations.All ). The connect module should be updated to optionally/preferentially leverage an application service principal over a user account.
