As of now, none of the database lookups have been in any way optimised. However Django provides a pages' worth of tools and techniques to optimise DB queries, which should be understood and implemented.

The goal is to use them wherever misconduct is spotted and apply the fixes in a documented way as an example for other apps to be lead with.
