Feedback

Please update the guide with instructions on canceling a long-running validation job. I have had a validation job running for almost 7 days, and I have no idea how to cancel it. I think it would be helpful to include some instructions.

How to Cancel a Long-Running Validation Job

If you find that your validation job is taking longer than expected, you can cancel it using the following steps:

Open the Windows App Certification Kit (WACK):

Launch the WACK application on your machine.
Navigate to the Job Queue:

In the WACK interface, locate the "Job Queue" section where your validation jobs are listed.
Select the Long-Running Job:

Identify the job that you wish to cancel. It should display the status and duration of the job.
Cancel the Job:

Right-click on the job and select the "Cancel" option from the context menu. Alternatively, you may find a "Cancel" button in the toolbar.
Confirm Cancellation:

A prompt may appear asking you to confirm the cancellation. Click "Yes" to proceed.
Check Job Status:

After cancellation, ensure that the job status updates to reflect that it has been canceled.
