Tested on Arch Linux, version 1.9.0 of the launcher, on both the AUR and Flatpak versions of the launcher.
The DualSense is almost fully functional - the game displays the correct PlayStation prompts, and every button - Circle, Square, Cross, Triangle, start + select, L1 + R1, L3 + R3, and D-Pad - works correctly. However, the axis controls are completely messed up. Left analog stick does nothing. The camera is constantly drifting, and L2 and R2 can be used to modify the angle at which the camera endlessly spins. The right analog stick fully functions as the left analog stick, mapping to the correct directions but on the wrong stick.
My initial hunch was that this was related to a bug with my system's SDL, so I switched from the AUR version to the Flatpak version; however, the Flatpak exhibited the same issues.
