On Screen Keyboard Not Showing

I've gotten to the point where I can log into the game, but I need the on-screen keyboard to appear in order to actually type it in as I don't have a separate physical keyboard I can use. Pressing the Steam button and X brings the keyboard up in the background, but doesn't show it on the game screen in order for me to actually use it. Sooo, I'm stuck, unable to log in and actually download the game properly.

I had same issue.
But after few hours found solution that works for me.

I tried open game in desktop mode. But there was mistake.
First of all in desktop mode need to add game like different or another. (In library in bottom "Add to library...", and after find in list. Must be there if all installed right)
Then in go to Game Mode and launch it.

When game opens touch(on screen, NOT trackpad) field of login for example, and you must see field ready to write something.
Then press buttons "STEAM" + X to call keyboard. Attention! Hovering of field can disappear sometimes, so close keyboard by button "B" and touch field on screen again. Make it until you will be able to write something.

And do this with another field.
