Hi @michael-nhat! 10ten is currently using the data from JMDict and Kanjidic. I don't think those dictionaries have Vietnamese data. I can see someone made up some data here: https://github.com/dreamofi/yomichan-Vietnamese-dictionary Is this the data you would like to use? |
I would like to add the dictionary you mention (It could only look single kanji character) and "words only" dict. I think vietnamese users need an additional kanji part in vietnamese (for easy refer and remember, english in other parts could be keeped), data for vietnamese part could get from from this chrome extension. Sorry for late reply |
Hi! Thank you for this extra information. I didn't quite understand what the additional kanji part is? Is the pinyin reading? Or the Hán Việt reading? Or something like that? I'm sorry, I'm really ignorant of Vietnamese but I would really like to support this. |
Sorry for the confusion, I didn't know that dictionary,. Until you mentioned it I install and use it (with yomichan). It has both words and characters and is quite complete for me. It also seems to be generated from mjdict and kanjidic. |
Ok, great. I will see if we can include that data in 10ten in future. |
Thank you for listening. I currently use yomichan, happy to see if it works on 10ten. Please close this if needed. |
Hi, I want add dictionary content for another language (Vietnamese , kanji part), but I don't find any info to do that in github. Is there any chance I could do that with 10ten? for example: add vietnamese entry to language selection
