It is missing from the overall file, or from the entries in the $graph?

it is in the file - just missing from the objects returned from the parser

this only happens for JSON files of the form

{
  "$graph": [...],
  "cwlVersion": "v1.2"
}

That is correct, in a way, because cwlVersion is not present in the entries in the $graph.

How much of a problem is that?
