Expose versionCommand via API

For automation purposes access to the versionCommand via the API would be beneficial, the use-case is that it can be used for lifecycle planing. This is due to the fact that when components / software will reach it's end of X, it's too late, and efforts need to be started way before that to address it, hence vulnerability management solutions and similar isn't the best option for that, however eox monitoring could be a great place for this.
