Community Call and Chat

@usta suggested we have a chatroom, so I did two things:

1. Created a room on Gitter: https://gitter.im/endoflife-date/community. I have tried to configure a GitHub integration, but I'm not sure if it's functional properly yet.
2. Set a Community Call. You can pick a time here.

Giving ourselves something to do on the call, here's a short agenda for the first call:

1. Meet and Greet.
2. Pick a monthly call schedule.
3. Ideas and Suggestions
4. Governance

The call will be in English, and will be open to any users and contributors of endoflife.date. It will not be recorded (might change with future calls, would like to discuss this). Haven't decided on a platform, but hopefully Zoom works for everyone?

Notes about Chat

I would like to use the Chat as an "auxiliary" medium for faster communication when the need arises. This includes things like helping someone debug their PR, or answering some small query about the guide, or similar things.

However, because chats are both ephemeral and hidden from the internet, I'd very much like to keep large discussions about features, reviews etc on GitHub. GitHub also works better across timezones, since you can work async. If there is some relevant discussion on the chat to the issue at hand, please make sure you link to it, so it's helpful to everyone.

Same thing applies to Community Calls, but we can take notes for that so it's easier to account for.

I'll update the CoC to accommodate for chat and the community call when I get some time.

Okay, taking another shot at this. I'd like to schedule a monthly call on second wednesday of the month (8th Nov, 13 Dec, 10 Jan). Times across some of the timezones for @endoflife-date/everyone are in the screenshot. First column is UTC.

1300-1700 UTC is ideal for me, and I think should work for most of us. Does this sound feasible?

Won't do for me, it's on working hours. And more generally it's more practical for me to contribute to asynchronous discussions.

Created one, but its mostly 1100-2300 IST (0630-1830 UTC) https://app.simplymeet.me/nemo - with some breaks on the weekend.

@marcwrobel Does Saturday/Sunday work for you? I prefer async as well, but think it will be nice to have a monthly discussion. Might be helpful to our users as well.
