SushiJS?

I can probably find a sponsor to pay for it, the challenge is going to be capacity planning.

awesome, do you have logo art that actually says "sushijs" on it for the website?

I do not, the only artwork we've done so far is the org and the hexagon sticker version.

I can work with my designer and try to come up with something that actually says "SushiJS" if needed.

@mikeal Do you want a subdomain to link to? Probably better than to the GitHub organization.

for now the GH org is fine because people can at least figure out what it is. a simple splash site would be great but I think it's fine if we don't.

Been thinking about this. Dunno how many people you think would come to this event, but the number that would overwhelm more (but not all) sushi venues is sorta low. (Though I know of at least two larger sushi places over there I can check in with)

Bouncing around an idea: what about if we bring in a chef and do roll-your-own workshop type dealio? It's something I've wanted to do one month with SushiJS San Francisco, and think it might scale better with something like JSFest.

That could work if we have the space and setup in whatever we rent for DanceJS.

@mikeal As this is still unscheduled, I'm not expecting it to become scheduled as an evening event. Trying to do anything official during lunch on the 12th seems like it might overwhelm Torpedo or Ozumo, but happy to contact them and try to work something out.
