_sum_of_square referes to itself in it's docstring:

See Also
    --------
    _square_of_sums : The square(s) of the sum(s) (the opposite of
        `_sum_of_squares`).

Though, papyri seem to not resolve this reference.

We should:

Investigate why
Fail earlier possible before writing the json files at gen time.
