How to add specific version attrs=23.1.0 in yocto krikstone version

Hi Team,
In our project we have to add attrs 23.1.0 particular version in yocto (krikstone) .Because we are fixing to version. We are facing so many challenges(like build errors and multiple dependencies) by creating custom dev-python recipe. Could you please help me to add specific version smoothly in our target images. Please point me If any documentation available regarding the same.

This seems like a topic to bring to the Yocto community. attrs is a regular Python package without any dependencies. Whatever the correct approach for Python packages is, is also the correct approach for attrs. AFAIK, nobody around here has any experience with Yocto.
