What is actually needed here? I can build and load the firmware onto my FX2 dev board with no problems and have it listed as an opsis board in the kernel. The only thing that I have noticed is that it is not persistent, so if the board is unplugged or power disconnected, it comes up as the default Cyprus USB test device and the firmware needs to be reloaded
The boards have different features available, so while it comes up as an Opsis board you are not going to get any video from it with your current firmware.
For developing FX2 firmware, you can get most of the way using the cheap "dev boards" you can get on eBay and other distributors.
