Request for an executable file. #5
Comments
Hey @HarryHeights, About your kind offer, I am working on the website where the desktop version and wiki pages for building on a local machine will be found. The building instructions will be about on how to configure local machine and install dependencies (with screenshots if possible). This is and intense week for me and I will either slowly push the new projects or need to work hard to complete all of them at once. If you think you can help, I will be helping you to do technical work and you will be documenting them. I don't think it will take more than 10 pages (maximum) with images. For the executable you requested, I can provide one for Windows if it is what you are running. I don't usually do that because my work environment is on Linux. Thanks and it is nice to hear from you again. |
Thanks for your reply. I'll need an executable file for windows. |
This is a test build. When it first asks for a permission for Windows Firewall, you should permit otherwise need to manually change in Windows Firewall settings. Dropping files does not work for some reason. Also on Windows still you need manually search for the device to share files. https://github.com/genonbeta/TrebleShot-Desktop/releases/tag/0.1.0-alpha2 |
Okay. Thanks alot. I'll try it out. |
@velitasali goodday. Sorry to bother you. The link you dropped wasn't for an executable file. |
Hey @HarryHeights, there has been an error. Now you should be seeing exe file. |
Seen @velitasali . The app has an error though.
|
I will investigate this, but not sure what is causing it right now. |
Oh okay. |
The discussion for this is at #6 |
Hi, @velitasali . It's been quite a long time. I was wondering when an executable file of the desktop variant of Trebleshot will be available for download. Using USB cables are becoming tiring. By the way, I was wondering if you will be needing documents as I did for the Android version. That is Privacy policy and FAQs. And maybe a contributor's guide.
Once again, great job.
