Fair Use Tool is an interactive online tool that will be accessible for middle-school students and their teachers. The main goal of the tool is designing and coding web application with Interactive and User-friendly Interface for teaching a playful way of how to use copyrighted content in accordance with fair use policy.

First fork the repository to your own GitHub account by clicking the fork button:

Clone it to your local own machine:
git clone https://github.com/your_username/fut.git

Navigate to the newly created project directory:
cd fut

After you are all set up with main requirements above, run bundlle command to install the required gems
bundle install

Before creating database don’t forget to edit the config/database.yml file to include the right socket, username and password for your MySQL server

Create the database
rake db:create
-
Then run the migrations
rake db:migrate

Finally run the seed command to fill the database with initial data
rake db:seed

Congratulations, You’re almost done! Now run the server and open the site in your web browser ‘localhost:3000’
